The Project will be located on crown lands on a 52-hectare site and will have the capacity to serve the electrical needs of approximately 900,000 homes and businesses in Alberta. The facility will utilize modern, highly efficient industrial turbines, fueled by natural gas, and has an anticipated in-service date towards the end of 2022.
